PROFESSOR LAYTON VS NI NO KUNI!

Update: The server is live! You can join using this link: https://discord.gg/xWwb2sTRkb
Hi!
In the Spanish wiki, the idea of starting a common Discord server for the different Layton wikis was advocated. Thus, I'd like to ask for your opinions on this.
It would be a place suitable for exchanging ideas with contributors from the here and the non-English Layton wikis, coordinating projects (internally or across languages), or just have a nice chat.
For every important matter, e.g. major organisational aspects, or something of interest to every contributor or reader, we could and should continue to use the Discussions here or the talk pages and user message walls. A server should of course be a benefit for the ones who want to join, but not be a disadvantage to those who don't.
If you have any questions or suggestions please reply to this post. There hasn't been any detailed plan yet.
I've just noticed someone uploaded some sprite edits I made (Arianna and Tony's sprites edited to look like their older versions seen in the bonus art) to the wiki. The edit has been put in the gallery of both Arianna and Tony's pages. I was not asked permission for my work to be put here, and there is no credit given. They are labelled 'original ver.' whatever that means. Could someone with the admin power to take them down please do so? Thank you.
I have both the art book and a scanner avaliable to scan the book. Should I add scans of the artbook in its own gallery, or the art of the characters on their own pages?
hi! i'm new here... i wanted to put off writing an essay for school so i thought it would be fun to fix some typos and add some paragraphs to layton's personality page. whoops, though, cause i slam dunked the entire plot section into the trash by accident, never to be seen again!!! (i accidentally deleted it) i've fixed it to the best of my ability, but it still needs some good loving. i added back the "profiles" image tab as an apology. hopefully i can re-format the photos, proofread, etc. before my ip gets banned :'). also... is the chapter by chapter summaries necessary? it's cool, and i love it, don't get me wrong, but it feels super in depth for a character page. if i were to fix this, would more character centered summaries work? ones that don't summarize each chapter for each game layton's in, but instead summarize his choices, actions, history, etc. revealed throughout the game in tandem with the plot any help with this would be tremendously appreciated. thank you and apologies
i find out that there was an artbook of Professor layton but i didn't find one page that refer to it or even exist ?

It's hard to believe the puzzle setter managed to cock up so much as this. Any of the three is a valid answer.
A is lying: A ate the fish, but it wasn't nice.
B is lying: A ate the fish, but B didn't see him eat it.
C is lying: A and at least one of B and C shared the fish between them.
Indeed, C is perhaps the most dubious answer - does "eat that fish right up" mean eat the whole thing?
I was just wondering if the page shoud be updated since the profile from miracle mask says that she is clairvoyant and while her info says she is not, so I'm a little confused.
I've only realised this but on other fandom Wikia pages, I've seen them have Wikia pages for theme songs and ending songs.
I'm not sure how to develop a Wikia page for it and I don't know when I'll get to make the pages though
What is the use of the |noncanon parameter in the Character infobox?
I would like to contribute to the wiki, but I'm not sure if somebody is already working on the hints and solutions to the MM puzzles. I used OCR to do MM061, but if someone is already in the process of finishing them, I don't want to make their work useless. Thanks
Well, during his childhood he had brown/green eyes, but in the present, Desmond has red eyes, and the color of his hair is a little different. What do you think about this?
We must to take into account that Desmond Sycamore appearance is not a guise, or a stolen identity (like the other games).
Should the background theme be changed to represent Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney?
Here is some information about the changes made recently and some plans:
- We now have Lua enabled, which gives us faster and more powerful templates. I've already ported some templates to Lua, and will do some others later (Infobox, Navbox). If you see any templates that could benefit from Lua, post it below (or convert it yourself if you can).
Plans for this are puzzle oriented. The idea is to store the infobox data for puzzles in a central Lua module (Like this one one for CV) so that the info can be reused. For example, the Curious Village Puzzle Index now uses the data to generate the entire table automatically. This will also be used on puzzle pages. I already converted the first page: Puzzle:Where's the Town? (Disregard the infobox look for now, I will update the CSS when the Module is used for all infoboxes). If you look at the source, you will see that the code is much simpler. The puzzle navigation and infobox are automatically generated.
- Another Extension that is now active here is Labeled Section Transclusion. This extension allows you to mark specific sections on a page and transclude them to other pages. Basically, this is the same as <onlyinclude>
, only you can give names to them and choose what ones to transclude. See the extension page for how to use it.
I plan to use this for chapter pages. These pages reuse a lot of things from elsewhere (mysteries, plot, ...). I'm sure there will be other use cases for it as well.
So I looked around the wikia and I see that no one has created the Azran Legacy Puzzles category, and the "Add a Puzzle" page only goes to Miracle Mask.
Would uh, anyone be mad if I edit the code a bit to make it for Azran Legacy? I'd just be copy/pasting it so it (shouldn't) mess up the current MM textbox/button.
Recently, we've started to add names "In other languages" to our infoboxes (characters, locations, ...). They are usually at the bottom of the infobox and can be expanded.
If you have a game in a non-English language, please help us to complete this information. If you know the non-English name of a Character or Location, please add it to the infobox, or leave a message here.
I also want to note that the wiki is available in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch and even Japanese. Most of these are very small, so if you have the time, feel free to help them out a little!
So, with Azran Legacy being released soon, it's time to change our wiki background again.
Does anyone here have any suggestions for a background we could use?
Something that has been bothering me for a while is our Infoboxes. My main problem is that they look so different from eachother.
For example: The {{CharacterInfobox}} has rounded borders and uses different colors that for example the games infobox. The {{MovieInfobox}} has yet another look.
I would like to give all infoboxes the same unified look, perhaps with only very small differences. I think it will make the Wiki look better.
My suggestion is to change the movie infobox and character infobox to look like the current {{Gamebox}} (which should be renamed GameInfobox for consistency).
Secondly, I feel we should probably introduce a new infobox for Locations. I'll just need to think what we would put for information in it :P
