Max is very short boy who wears a green shirt with tan shorts and purple shoes. He has a square head with robotic-looking eyes.

Max has a strange manner of speaking, usually communicating with game show sound effects. He likes to eavesdrop on people in the restaurant.

Max gives Layton and Luke a few puzzles during their time in Future London. These puzzles include "No-Go Arrows" and "Calendar Collage".
