Matrix Software Co. Ltd. (株式会社マトリックス, Kabushiki-gaisha Matorikkusu) is a Japanese video game development company. It was founded in 1994[1], and released its first video game Alundra in 1997[1] for the Sony PlayStation. The company has since published many games for multiple gaming platforms, including mobile operating systems iOS and Android.

Matrix Software is the lead developer of the Professor Layton series spin-off game Layton Brothers: Mystery Room.
