Nick is one of the many characters appearing in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. He is yet another resident of the small country village west of London known as Dropstone. He is only seen once in the entirety of the game, however. He is seen as one of the twenty-or-so residents who are up-close to the competition enjoying the anniversary of Dropstone's fiftieth birthday. Nick is seen watching a part of the livestock competition at the festival up town by the Town Hall.
Nick, as one of the residents of Dropstone, knows the people who live there like the back of his hand. Thus, he is the person at the festival who tells Professor Layton and Luke where Mr. Anderson, the most influential man in Dropstone, is at during the festivities. Mr. Anderson is one of the judges at the livestock competition. The conversation between Professor Layton and Nick leads to the puzzle "Who's Mr. Anderson?". After the conversation ends, Professor Layton and Luke leave Nick and confront Mr. Anderson, the only person in Dropstone that Professor Layton believes holds vital information regarding this so-called phantom town and The Elysian Box.
Layton and Luke meet Nick at the livestock competition, where he tells them about an influential figure in Dropstone. He loves chatting with whomever he can find, so he often plays tour guide to unsuspecting visitors.
