Puzzle

US Version

With its windows opening out into thin air eight stories up and its door securely bolted, you might think this room is inaccessible from the outside. However, a single unusual detail reveals the truth of what went on here.

Your job is to look around the room by tapping the arrows and find this detail. Once you've got it, circle the area with your stylus and choose Submit to give your answer. Make sure to circle only one object when you answer.

UK Version

Given that the doctor's flat is on the eighth floor and that the door was securely locked, you might think that there was no way in or out of this room. However, a single suspicious detail provides a clue as to what went on here.

Look in all four directions and examine the room carefully. When you think you've found the tell-tale detail, circle it with the stylus and touch Submit. Be sure to circle only one object, or else your answer won't count!

You're looking for something unusual. There are lots of odd objects in the room, but while many may be strange, they aren't the brand of unusual objects you're searching for.

UK Version

Take a good look in all directions. You're looking for something suspicious.

Dr Schrader's flat is certainly full of all kinds of strange and rare objects, but "strange and rare" isn't the same thing as "suspicious".

US Version

You won't find the answer in the areas that Professor Layton and Inspector Chelmey are examinating.

UK Version

The parts of the flat that the professor and Inspector Chelmey are in do not contain what you're looking for.

US Version

The object in question is often found in pairs.

UK Version

The suspicious detail concerns one of a pair of objects.
