Pre-Game[]

Millennia ago, the Azrans built the Golden Garden. Before the events of Last Specter, Loosha was born in the Golden Garden. After her parents died, she ventured out through the gateway to the lake in the gardens of Barde Manor, where she met the young Arianna and Tony.

Professor Layton and the Last Specter[]

While traveling to Misthallery with Emmy, Professor Layton remembers an essay suggesting that the Golden Garden was located in the town. An investigative team has been sent out to search for it but came up empty. Jean Descole work with Levin Jakes and used an excavation machine to destroy the town in attempt to unearth the garden. But Loosha fought the machine to prevent that from happening so Arianna came it first so her illness can be cured.

When Loosha breaks down the floodgates of Misthallery's dam, the town is flooded with water. The lake now drained, a gateway is revealed. Professor Layton manages to open the gateway, and he, Emmy, Luke, Arianna, Tony and Loosha walk down the pathway into the garden. Here, they discover that it is not riches that make the garden legendary, but its prehistoric beauty and its pure unpolluted air.

Having used the last of her strength to break down the dam, Loosha collapsed, and died with Arianna and Tony by her side. Her body was carried by the river current to the lake. She had sacrificed herself to bring Arianna to the garden, as she knew that the air could save Arianna's life.

At first, the garden's discovery was kept a secret until Arianna had recovered from her illness. When she did, the discovery was published in the papers, and it began Layton's career.

Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask[]

The Golden Garden is mentioned by Bronev twice, reflecting both while in the Reunion Inn to Bloom and after securing the Nautilus Chamber of Akbadain, another legacy by the Azrans. He says that Targent had taken over the Garden as well as the City of Ambrosia.

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy[]

Desmond Sycamore reveals to Professor Layton, Luke and Emmy the Golden Garden's true name as the Garden of Healing and Targent's control over it.
